Mixed Touch Rugby takes place every Tuesday at the University’s sports pitches, with sessions catering for both competitive and recreational players of all standards and abilities.
As a new club, we are student led and coached by our founding member and National player, Grace Burton, as well as experienced player and referee, Courtney Duncan. This student run approach allows strong connections to be made throughout the team and a safe environment for learning to be achieved. We also promote other players to take on leadership roles during sessions as we believe this provides an important building block to understanding the sport, as well as continuing the ethos of Saints Mixed Touch Rugby.

Saints Mixed Touch Rugby runs taster sessions at the start of each semester that are open to anyone. During these sessions we focus on drills and games that provide a basic understanding of the sport. These trainings are specifically tailored to newcomers and so are perfect for anyone interested in joining the club. But if you miss them, don’t worry, you’d be welcome to any of our weekly training sessions to give it a go.
